Making friends
At the beginning of the year Unicorn Class linked together with Falcons 2, a class at a London school in Thamesmead. Each week we have been exchanging videos, pictures, book reviews and lots more. It has been an exciting project and we have loved making new friends.
On Tuesday 22nd November we had a chance to meet our partners at Stonehenge. During the day we talked, played and spent lots of time learning about each other. We found that we had lots of things in common, even though we lived in different parts of the country.
Most recently we have written letters to our partners telling them all about our ‘Switch off day.’ We worked really hard on our letters and learnt about the importance of writing the address and post code clearly on the envelope.
Finally we walked to the post box and posted our letters. Whilst we were posting the letters we found out that the post person would collect them at 5pm. Hopefully our letters will reach our partners safely.
